Gerry Cormier Memorial Battle Royal
Gerry Cormier was the Mayor of Miramichi before current Mayor Adam Lordon was elected after Mr. Cormier’s passing. Gerry was a kind soul, who did so much for the people of Miramichi, who cared for greatly.
Now, NWE honors the former mayor with the annual Gerry Cormier memorial Battle Royal. This is now an annual tradition at NWE Road To Gold, with the winner receiving a trophy commemorating the historical event, as well as being awarded an NWE Elite Championship match at a future date.
